Imran Khan, whose full name is Imran Khan  was born on October 5, 1952, in Lahore, Pakistan. He comes from a well-known family, with his family having a history of success in cricket and academia. Khan was educated in Lahore and later attended the University of Oxford.

 Imran Khan is best known for his cricketing prowess. He made his debut for the Pakistan cricket team in 1971 and became one of the country's most celebrated cricket captains. Under his leadership, Pakistan won its first-ever Cricket World Cup in 1992.

Imran Khan founded the Shaukat Khanum Memorial Cancer Hospital & Research Centre in Lahore in 1994, which offers free cancer treatment to underprivileged patients. He also established Namal University, focusing on providing education to rural communities.
